A very clean and green Porsche 911 2.7 Targa, wearing the obligatory Fuchs alloys of course.

Mitsubishi was one of two marque’s with an official presence at the show, with their all-new Triton (tarted up in full rally-ready regalia) being the first thing everyone will see upon entering the hall.

More green Porsche 911s. One from both ends of the age spectrum.

Long and low it might be, but the big brakes on this Audi Avant hints that it might not be all that slow.

This tarted up GWM Tank 300 was sole Chinese car representative at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2024. But with the way things are going over here, expect a whole more of ‘em in the very near future.

A very child-friendly itasha Perodua Bezza. Do the kids these days even recognise Winnie the Pooh though?

More of Disney’s intellectual property on show.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo, the top-dog Godzilla that can still be had with a factory warranty.

Eleanor, and its modern day equivalent.

Red vs blue. Old vs new. Both pretty cool Zs nonetheless.

An Aston Martin on airbags, with it to incidentally be also sporting a set of widened hips too.

Do you like your Toyota Celicas boxy or blobby? T180 fifth generation on the left, T160 fourth generation on the left.

Both have two-doors. Both come from Mercedes-Benz. And both incidentally rear-wheel drive too, with this third-generation of smart fortwo seeing its tiny three-pot mounted right round its rump!

A candy apple Caldina GT-Four TRD N edition, where N does not stand for Normal, but instead the last initial of Hiromu Naruse, Toyota’s long-time factory test driver and Morizo’s mentor.

Subaru makes a statement at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2024 by premiering their custom songket-inspired livery on the BRZ and WRX STI.

The crazy pipes of Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2024. Don’t think they are remotely JPJ approved.

An unlikely pink duo: a pale pink Volkswagen Beetle with an Egyptian theme, and a Mazda CX-5 with the Climate Balena bodykit

Just to finish things off here, a few snapshots of the merchandise available to purchase at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur 2024.

And here’s the last of the photos to from the camera roll of the event.
