Up To RM 8,000 savings now available on 2020 model year Ranger Raptors and WildTraks.
To those who have lusted over a Ranger Raptor or a WildTrak, well there is perhaps no better time than the present to get yourselves one of these pickups. That is because as Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, is currently offering up to RM 8,000 savings for these models.
In conjunction with the upcoming festive season, SDAC is currently offering a cash rebate of up to RM 8,000 for a Ranger Raptor and up to RM 7,000 for a Ranger WildTrak. Bear in mind though that these savings are only applicable to 2020 model year pickup trucks and that the promotion is only valid till the 30th of April 2021.
For more information about these aforementioned pickups, the Ranger WildTrak comes with a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged four-cylinder that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The city slicker’s preferred choice of pickup, this particular spec of Ford truck also features a rather comprehensive list of active safety tech like Autonomous Emergency Braking with Vehicle and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and first-in-class Semi-Automatic Parallel Parking.
As for the more adventurous and off-road ready Ranger Raptor, it features much the same 213 PS/500 Nm powertrain and tech as its city-slicker counterpart. Added to this desert-racing inspired pickup however are various off-road enhancements like a Fox Racing Shox suspension system and the Baja driving mode, not to mention other added sporty add-ons like the body-contoured sport seats, paddle shifters and Raptor-branded steering wheel.
