TATA global design VP is Pratap Bose

No relation to the inventor of the Bose sound system, Pratap Bose has been promoted from Tata Motor’s head of design to their vice president, global design.

Bose, who holds a master’s degree from RCA and is a veteran of Piaggio, Mitsubishi and Mercedes-Benz among others, has been working for Tata Motor since 2011, where he instigated the creation of a new design philosophy known as ‘IMPACT 2.0’ which has been key to the Indian manufacturer’s growing success and credibility. You can read more insight into that here.

Currently, Bose oversees Tata’s three design centres in Pune, Turin and Coventry, in India, Italy and the UK respectively.
