RM 10k has been contributed by SOCAR Malaysia to the Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT)’s club fund.
SOCAR Malaysia has recently made a generous contribution of RM 10,000 towards the Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT)’s club fund. A fund which provides social welfare support and organises communal activities for its members, this gesture by the Malaysian car-sharing service is in appreciation and recognition of the tireless work by the frontliners during this currently ongoing pandemic.
These contributions by SOCAR to the Bukit Aman JSPT club will go some way towards the covering the costs for contributions towards personnel and their immediate family members who are hospitalised or who have passed away, as well as for communal activities such as retirement celebrations and meet-the-public events. According to the club, in 2020 alone a total of 79 police officers have received financial assistance from the club fund, amounting to RM 47,100.
Speaking on behalf of the Bukit Aman JSPT club members, YDH DCP Dato’ Azisman Alias, Director of the Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department sincerely thanked SOCAR Malaysia for its kind contribution towards the club. “It is always important for us to ensure that the wellbeing of our PDRM personnel are cared for. As part of our day to day work and also our public engagement initiatives, having a positive relationship with Malaysians from all walks of life, from businesses to ordinary citizens, is key to our success,” he added.
The department hopes to be able to continue providing aid and assistance for its members and their dependents in need during the year ahead. As such therefore, the department has also taken the initiative to provide moral support in order to lighten the burden faced by police officers in this difficult time.

The club funds are allocated for the welfare needs of PDRM personnel in the Bukit Aman JSPT, including contributions for personnel and their immediate family members who are hospitalised or who have passed away as well as for communal activities such as retirement celebrations and meet-the-public events.
