Sime Darby Auto Selection (SDAS) has recently announced the opening of a new service centre in Glenmarie. Its first ever service centre for multi-brand vehicles, this new facility aims to offer a ‘new high-quality after-sales service alternative, at a price point competitive with independent workshops, for post-warranty vehicles’.
Born from its recently launched SDAS multi-brand used car business, the services on offer at this one-stop service centre currently consist of basic auto maintenance jobs like engine oil replacement, tyre alignment and balancing, air-conditioner recharge and car wash and disinfection services. Vehicle inspection and repair services are also on offer at this particular facility.
Located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie, Shah Alam, this 4,117 square feet facility consists of six service bays manned by trained technicians. More of interest for patrons of the service centre though is perhaps the customer lounge that has complimentary WiFi, snacks, as well as coffee and tea-making facilities. If customers are unable to wait there however, Sime Darby Auto Selection also offers pickup and delivery services for the car to be serviced.
This new facility is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 12.30 pm on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays. Bookings for a service can be made online at the SDAS website, or through the phone at 03-4065 2502.
As part of its opening promotion, the SDAS service centre is currently offering a complimentary vehicle inspection along with a free car wash for every service performed there. There is also currently an ongoing promotion offering up to 20% off an engine oil service.
So to those who are afraid to roll the dice on an independent workshop take care of their out-of-warranty pride and joy, and are reluctant to go back to the dealership that charged an arm and a leg for a service, this new SDAS service centre then could perhaps be the place to go for stress-free, cost-effective auto maintenance.

The new service facility that measures 4,117 square feet houses a total of six service bays, a cosy customer lounge equipped with free WiFi, coffee and tea-making facilities, as well as complimentary snacks to ensure customers are comfortable while waiting for their vehicles to be serviced. Those unable to personally send in their cars can also arrange for pick-up and delivery service.
