Hyundai Malaysia Celebrates 1st Birthday With Free Stargazer

Up to RM 36,000 cash rebates are also for grabs in Hyundai Motor Malaysia’s three-month anniversary celebration.

While it might not seem like it, Hyundai Motor Malaysia has already been running the show here for a full year. And just to mark the occasion, the South Korean automaker is throwing a three-month birthday bash packed with attractive purchase incentives, lucky draws, monthly cash prizes and enhanced ownership benefits.

Since taking over the brand’s distribution in Malaysia last year, Hyundai has steadily expanded its dealer network while introducing several important new models to the local market. This anniversary campaign therefore celebrates that milestone while giving prospective buyers the chance to enjoy some of the biggest promotions the company has offered to date.

So, what’s on offer? Well, customers purchasing selected Santa Fe, Staria and Tucson models between 1 July and 30 September 2026 can now choose between two promotional packages.

The first is the Total Drive Reward Package, which includes cash rebates of up to 16% off the recommended retail price, eight complimentary scheduled services covering both labour and parts, as well as fuel subsidies worth up to RM5,000 on selected models.

Alternatively, buyers can opt for the Instant Saving Package, which offers an immediate cash rebate of up to RM36,000 off the vehicle’s recommended retail price.

Beyond the purchase incentives, Hyundai Malaysia is also rewarding customers through its “Durian Runtuh Berganda-ganda!” campaign. Anyone who books or registers a new Hyundai between now and 30 September 2026 will automatically stand a chance to win one unit of the all-new Stargazer, the brand’s upcoming MPV that was recently previewed for the Malaysian market.

Even those who are still undecided can walk away with something too. Customers who participate in a test drive, make a booking or register a new Hyundai during the campaign will receive entries into the Monthly Lucky 7 Winners Campaign, where a total of RM 10,000 in Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits will be given away every month.

Commenting on the milestone, Hyundai Motor Malaysia President Eric Lee said the company’s first anniversary represents an important chapter in Hyundai’s journey in Southeast Asia and reflects the strong relationship it has built with Malaysian customers over the past year.

Managing Director Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen added that the campaign is a token of appreciation for customers who have supported the brand since its return to direct operations in Malaysia, while reaffirming Hyundai’s commitment to delivering innovative products, quality aftersales support and an ownership experience that extends well beyond the initial purchase.

Further strengthening that ownership proposition is Hyundai’s myHyundaiCare aftersales programme, with every new Hyundai sold in Malaysia continuing to be backed by an eight-year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty, whichever comes first.

It has certainly been a busy first year for Hyundai Motor Malaysia. From launching the facelifted Tucson and introducing the all-new, boxy Santa Fe to bringing the high-performance IONIQ 5 and 6 N to KLIMS 2026, the company has wasted little time rebuilding its local presence. And with the Stargazer expected to arrive soon, giving one away before it even goes on sale seems like a rather fitting way to kick off year two.
