Soon to be unveiled (15th January 2019 @ 7.00pm) and for sale at all Perodua showrooms nationwide, this is Perodua’s first SUV and it 4.4 meters or 14 feet 7 inches from nose to tail. Under the bonnet is a tried and tested 2NR-VE powerplant which was developed from the 2NR-FE powerplant in the very popular Toyota Sienta MPV.

This 1.5-liter engine boasts Dual VVT-I and develops 104 PS at 6,000 rpm. Torque stands at 136 Nm. Perodua will use the proven and reliable four-speed automatic gearbox to ensure a worry free motoring for its owners.

At 1,695 millimeters wide and 1,705 millimeters tall, this Perodua ARUZ will seat 7-people or 5 adults with plenty of luggage space. The Perodua ARUZ which is the national carmaker’s much-awaited 3-row seven-seater Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), is now open for booking with estimated prices of between RM72,200 and RM77,200 (on-the-road before insurance in Peninsular Malaysia). The ARUZ will give a best-in-class rated fuel efficiency of 15.6 km/l, allowing it to be government-certified as an Energy-Efficient Vehicle (EEV).
