A PHEV Proton e.MAS 7 WILL Eventually Be Launched In Malaysia

The big question now is whether this e.MAS 7 PHEV will be close in price to its all-electric sibling.  The Proton e.MAS 7 has certainly piqued the interest of Malaysians currently considering an electrified transition, especially as early impressions of it shows that the roaring lion marque has indeed brought to the segment a car that is likely both better and cheaper than all its competition.  But just before putting down an order for one of these first EVs from the Malaysian automaker, those who may not be entirely convinced of a fully electric future just yet should note that there…

It has to be said though that Toyota still managed to sell 8,400 cars over here in November alone.  If a recent sales report from Toyota over here is any indication, it really does seems that the deluge of Chinese car makers has finally managed to steal a chunk away from the traditional Japanese players,   The Japanese automaker had recently posted that is sold 8,400 cars in November 2024, with its year-to-date total currently standing at ‘approximately 89,500 units’. This is in contrast to last year, where Toyota managed 10,263 sales in November, with its year-to-date total of 97,705…

BYD Atto 3 & Dolphin Will Soon Be Produced In Hungary

The bigger news though is for BYD to soon also be rolling out an ‘Atto 2’ for Europe in the coming years.  While Europe is trying its darnedest to stem the flow of Chinese EVs into its land, arguably the biggest player in that segment has already been laying the foundation to sidestep whatever tariffs the bureaucrats in Brussels enact. Such is as BYD has already begun construction of a production site for its cars in the old Continent, with its Hungary plant soon to roll out the Atto 3 and Dolphin from 2025.   BYD previously had intended for…
