ISUZU X-Terrain Takes The 2022 Borneo Safari Easily

The recent Borneo Safari saw the X-Terrain and their crew tackling the rough without a hiccup.

Since its global debut in October 2019, this all-new third-generation Isuzu D-Max pickup truck has impressed test drive editors and also buyers with its impressive level of sophistication, comfort and capability off road.

In just 10 months from its Malaysian launch date, this new Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain swept no less than five “Pick-up Truck of the Year” titles.

The first and most prominent award came from DSF.my and its team of editors who test drove the D-Max against all the available rivals and gave it the coveted title of VOTY Pickup Truck Of The Year.

This year marks the 30th run of the Borneo Safari event after its two year hiatus and it also served as the debut of this all new third generation Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain.

For the first time ever, Malaysian 4×4 enthusiasts will get to see this capable and handsome pick up truck conquer in its natural element, rough off-roads like the unforgiving roads of Borneo.

The adventures of the two teams continue in Episode 5 as their next task, the relay cooking challenge was about to begin while the contestants were still soaking in the breathtaking scenery along the route.

Members of each team will need to cooperate to prepare meals for the other convoy crews with limited raw materials and cooking ingredients. In an effort to gain additional metal badges for their own team, the contestants really stepped up their game. The team that successfully completes the challenges is the one with the best teamwork.
