Boon Siew Honda (BSH) begins the new year on a high note with the launch of three new models, namely the Super Cub C125, the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP and the CB1100 RS.
Super Cub C125 (RM13,999)
As suggested by the name, the C125 is powered by a 125 cc air-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC and four-stroke single cylinder engine which produces an output of 9.1 hp at 7,500 rpm and of 9.98 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.
Along with the authentic styling, the C125 incorporates modern safety features which include the adaptation of full LED lighting system and Honda SMART Key System. The bike’s 3.7-litre fuel tank is accessed by unlocking the seat electronically.
The Super Cub C125 will be offered with three colour options – Pearl Niltava Blue, Pearl Nebula Red and Pearl Shining Black. It will be available starting January 2019 at all Honda authorised dealers.
CBR1000RR Fireblade SP (RM114,999)
After the introduction of CBR1000RR Fireblade at the Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow 2018, BSH has unveiled the SP variant that offers greater riding performance.
The 1,000 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC engine churns out a maximum power output of 189 hp at 13,000 rpm and 114 Nm at 11,000 rpm. Weighing in at 195 kg, the Fireblade SP is the first Honda motorcycle to be equipped with the Ohlins Smart Electronically Controlled suspension.
It also features a compact 16-litre titanium fuel tank, Brembo brake system, Quickshifter as well as Cornering ABS. Exterior-wise, the Fireblade SP comes with the HRC Tricolor livery that pays homage to Honda’s racing tradition and history.
CB1100RS (RM75,999)
The CB1100RS has the timeless look of a 70’s sports bike, featuring a seamless fuel tank that evokes craftsmanship, single round LED headlight and twin instrument dials.
At the heart of the beautiful machine is a 1,140 cc air-cooled 4-stroke 4-valve DOHC engine that makes 88 hp at 7,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. As for the chassis, the CB1100 RS uses sharper geometry matched with firmer Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBV) front suspension and Twin Showa remote reservoir rear shocks.
It also features cast aluminum 17-inch wheels and dual radial-mount four-piston brake calipers with ABS. The CB1100RS will be available in Darkness Black Metallic and Matte Beta Silver Metallic with a super smooth finish.
