Yet another Aston Martin customised special has found its way to Malaysia.
Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has recently announced the arrival of yet another customised special edition to its lineup. Following on from the likes of the Pentland Green DBS Superleggera and the Dark Knight Edition Vantage, the latest personalised British premium grand tourer to arrive in Malaysia comes in the form of the DB11 V8 Magnetic Silver.
As the name suggests, this particular DB11 is of course painted Magnetic Silver. Aside from its silver paint job however, this specific Aston coupe also comes complete with the optional Exterior Black Pack that brings with it a black painted front grille, bonnet mesh, side strakes and tailpipes, in addition to gloss black roof strakes, front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser.
To further tie the black and silver exterior theme together, smoked tail lights and gloss black diamond-turned Y-spoke alloys are also standard on this particular Aston Martin. Behind those 20-inch forged wheels however hide red painted brake calipers, just for that added touch of vibrant contrast in this otherwise subdued exterior colour combination.
Continuing on the topic of red, there is rather more than a bit of this particular colour can be observed within the two-tone cabin of this 2-door coupe. In fact, these red interior details extend as far as the Spice Red seatbelts, not to mention the red embroidered Aston Martin wings within the brogue leather seats.
Now speaking of those seats, it is perhaps worth mentioning too that this particular Aston Martin features Nexus Quilting and Celestial Perforation, as part of the Luxury Pack option that was ticked for this car. The other interior options selected here were the Jewellery Dark Chrome interior pack and carbon fibre twill trim inlay, as well as the Technology Pack that adds Auto-Park Assist, a powered armrest, Touchpad Control and 13-speaker Aston Martin Premium Audio sound system.
Under the hood, this particular spec of DB11 comes with an AMG-derived 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 that is mated to a 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Though smaller than the V12 that is also available, this lighter (by a whopping 115 kg) and more compact power plant still makes a more than decent 503 hp and 675 Nm of torque, which is therefore capable of rocketing this Aston Martin to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 4 seconds flat, and on to a top speed of just over 300 km/h.
The DB11 V8 Magnetic Silver is available from RM 849,200 (excluding duties and taxes). While it may represent jump of over RM 70,000 from the RM 778,000 pre-tax base price of the standard car, the cost of maintenance of this customised special will perhaps not be so high courtesy of the complimentary 3-year factory warranty with a 24 months complimentary of Aston Martin Extended Warranty, and the 5-year scheduled servicing plan with labour included.

Marrying beautiful materials and exquisite craftsmanship, this specification showcases traditional techniques such as ornate brogued leather. With the use of the iconic exterior paint colour – Magnetic Silver, it exudes Aston Martin’s renowned quality and timeless style. While the addition of carbon fibre trim inlay and exterior black pack, it reflects the sporting character of the DB11.
