This all new Toyota Vios competes with the City sedan and Almera Turbo.
UMW Toyota Motor has just unveiled its fourth-generation Toyota Vios which has been a best-seller in the Malaysian non-national car market since its introduction in 2003 with more than half a million units sold.
This new Toyota Vios boasts improved performance, quicker acceleration, and new technology, making it an even more compelling choice for customers looking for a reliable, efficient, and affordable car.

Interestingly, the previous model Vios sedan, the 3rd generation (picture below) was launched in October 2013 and was priced from RM73,200 to RM93,000. A major facelift was introduced in January 2019 with great features and handsome looks with prices ranging from RM77,000 to RM87,000.
Anyway, this 2023 Vios has new features such as Paddle Shifters and Electronic Parking Brake add convenience to all drivers and there is advanced safety features as well as Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is also included which is high safety features for both driver and passengers using advanced technology. TSS alerts the driver of dangers and acts autonomously to prevent or avoid a collision.
This 2023 Toyota Vios is powered by the tried and tested 1.5 litre DOHC Dual VVT-i engine, which has been improved to deliver stronger performance paired to new 7-speed CVT with Sequential Shiftmatic gives quicker acceleration as well as enhances fuel efficiency.
The interior is also greatly improved and unlike the front end of the all-new 2023 Toyota Vios which looks very similar to the Camry, the interior is much sportier and youthful, with a clear and crisp digital driver display and 360° camera and 9 inch central infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
On top of that, the all-new 2023 Toyota Vios features an electronic parking brake with wireless charging and USB ports galore and paddle shifters which make the interior more modern and spacious.
All-New Toyota Vios comes with a 5-year warranty and unlimited mileage. Owners will also enjoy 24SEVEN Road Assist and a free three-year subscription to the Toyota Vehicle Telematics System which monitors the car’s location at all times.
