These new smart showrooms will now serve to facilitate the rollout of the recently launched #1 EV.
It would appear that having the backing of a Malaysian auto giant surely makes things easier when it comes to setting up shop over here, as while Tesla has a measly single showroom right now, smart has recently announced that it has batch opening of 10 dealerships nationwide.
Following the recent official launch of its #1 e-crossover, prospective owners in the major cities along the North-South Expressway can now visit their nearest smart dealership now to try before they buy. The aforementioned 10 outlets are located in Ipoh, Balakong, KL, Penang, Alor Setar, Glenmarie, Setia Alam, Melaka, Johor Bahru, and Damansara.
And while not all of these 10 outlets are technically operational right now, smart Malaysia encourages customers who may want to visit their Johor or Damansara outlet to visit their promotional roadshow in shopping malls near to those locations. smart Ipoh (GB Auto)
In the heart of Ipoh, the GB Auto outlet stands as a beacon of excellence, proudly displaying six units of the smart #1—the highest number among all outlets nationwide. Complementing this impressive showcase are five service bays for efficient car maintenance. For the environmentally conscious, the outlet offers three AC chargers and a 60 kW DC Charger for public use. Boasting the largest built-up area of 1,400m² among all outlets, GB Auto introduces an independent cafe named Shake & Bake Cafe, creating a welcoming space for enthusiasts.
