Boon Siew Honda reveals new Honda Vario 125 Street for the first time in Malaysia

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd today unveiled the new Honda Vario 125 Street, marking its first appearance in Malaysia. 

Previewed exclusively at REXKL, the model introduces a fresh take on urban mobility, combining bold street‑inspired design with everyday practicality.

The pop-up event embodied the Vario 125 Street culture and theme, adapting the street designs, language and vibe where ambiance is designed to the youth’s taste and preference, seamless to the function, design and performance of the new Vario 125 Street. 

Featuring fun, local music played by our local DJ, free-flow coffee, bright light displays, customized Vario 125 and exclusive local artist collaboration, Ini Era Vario Aku pop-up is an exclusive-invitation only on the 9th April 2026. 

Katun, our local graffiti illustrator artist who made Malaysia proud by his artistic designs for local and international brands, landed his touch on the new Vario 125 Street custom design cover set. The exclusive cover set will be available on display during the event to showcase the expression of the cool, youth and cultural interpretation of today’s lifestyle. The first 50 person who registered shall have a chance to win either Katun’s exclusive T-Shirt or Katun’s designed sticker. 

The Vario 125 Street 

The new Vario 125 Street offers a distinctive look, featuring the naked handlebar paired with a floating, separated digital speedometer that reduces riding fatigue, inspired by the adventure-style scooters.

The model retains Honda’s iconic V-shaped front identity, now refreshed with a sportier, more progressive appearance. Full LED lighting headlamp, tail lamp and blinkers for enhanced visibility in all riding conditions. 

What makes the new Vario 125 Street stand out is the overall design including the rim that follows the cover set color. Giving the whole bike a youthful, fun and hip looking scooter.

The scooter is powered by a 125cc liquid‑cooled engine with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology, offering a balance of responsive performance and fuel efficiency. Designed functionally for the city and urban go-getter usage, the Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) with Idling Stop System (ISS) delivers 8.5 kW at 8,500 rpm and 11.9 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm making it suitable for fun rides with friends and daily commutes.
