A new, more user-friendly website awaits those searching for a good deal on a used VW.
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has recently revamped its Das WeltAuto certified pre-owned (CPO) used car website. Featuring a new and improved website interface, it supposedly offers customers a better browsing experience online when searching for their next CPO VW.
Launched last year in Malaysia, Volkswagen’s global multi-award winning used car program aims to ‘offers customers certified used cars they can trust, backed by its expert know-how, standards and processes’. To that end, any VW purchased through the Das WeltAuto CPO program will have undergone a ‘thorough 133-point check’ by certified Volkswagen technicians.
All VWs offered through this CPO program are also certified to be accident-free, fitted with genuine VW parts, and will be offered with a complete proof of service at authorised Volkswagen service centres. Furthermore, buyers will enjoy up to one whole extra year of trouble-free motoring on top of their warranty period, as Das WeltAuto customers are entitled to an additional 1-year extended warranty and 1-year roadside assistance.
Moreover, great deals are to be had too under the Das WeltAuto program. Weekly and monthly special offers on various VWs could be found on the site. So not only are buyers having the (relative) peace of mind by choosing a CPO car, the offers may make it a financially more lucrative option than buying one off the used car lot too.
Das WeltAuto is currently available at 8 dealerships nationwide. Prospective buyers in the market for a certified pre-owned VW though should head to the website first before heading to the dealerships, just to take stock of what is offered.
On an unrelated note, VPCM has also launched a ‘Trade Up’ trade-in campaign targeting owners of older generation VWs who are in the market for another Volkswagen. Owners of a Touran, Cross Touran, Sharan, Passat CC and Passat B7 are entitled to an additional RM 3,000 in trade-in support towards any new Volkswagen models, including the recently launched Arteon, Tiguan Allspace and Passat Elegance models.
