Bringing the total number of Mitsubishi showroom and service centres to 52 outlets nationwide.
A new Mitsubishi 3S (Sales, Service & Spare parts) centre has opened its doors in Petaling Jaya. Located at No. 13, Jalan 225 Section 51A, 46100 Petaling Jaya, this new one-stop Mitsubishi dealership should be welcome news to existing Mitsubishi owners and prospective Mitsubishi buyers around the area.
A collaborative effort between Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) and its authorised dealer Ingress Motors Centre, this new PJ 3S centre represents the forth showroom established through this partnership, with the first three in Puchong, Bangi and Shah Alam respectively. This new PJ location also represents the 14th Mitsubishi showroom within the Klang Valley, of which four are operated by IMC. This has lead MMM CEO Tomoyuki Shinnishi to claim that this initiative by IMC represents its ‘commitment to further strengthen the Mitsubishi’s brand presence in Malaysia’ especially ahead of the local launch of the eagerly awaited Mitsubishi Xpander MPV.
Incorporating the new Mitsubishi Motors corporate identity, that incidentally is represented by its global tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’, this new 3S centre has a built-up area of 34,000 square feet and had RM 1.25 million invested into the premises. On the showroom side, there is sufficient space to display up to four vehicles. Handy as with the launch of the new Xpander, Mitsubishi Malaysia only has four distinct models within its lineup.
What is perhaps more impressive though would be the servicing capability of this new facility, with 12 service bays located within the fully-equipped Mitsubishi workshop. Customers awaiting the service of their cars can wait within the ‘comfortable customer lounge with WIFI’.
Although the range of vehicles offered currently by the tri-diamond marque may not be the top of its class, the commitment Mitsubishi has placed on customer service and after sales care should really warrant a second look into their products.

The new 3S Centre is located at No. 13, Jalan 225 Section 51A, 46100 Petaling Jaya.
This is IMC’s fourth Mitsubishi Motors showroom in Malaysia with the first three in Puchong, Bangi and Shah Alam respectively.
Including the new showroom in Petaling Jaya, all four of IMC’s showrooms incorporates Mitsubishi Motors’ new corporate brand; represented by its global tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’. The corporate mark is a powerful statement of Mitsubishi Motors commitment to the values and aspirations of its drivers.
“Congratulations to Ingress Motors Centre for opening another Mitsubishi Motors showroom here in Petaling Jaya. MMM and IMC have been business partners since 2013 and within seven years IMC has establish four out of 14 MMM showrooms within Klang Valley. It is our aim to serve our customers better in terms of sales and after sales in the central region.”
Also speaking at the new showroom launch, Rabian Abdul Rahman, President of Ingress Motors Centre Auto Dealership Division said “I strongly believe that the opening of our new showroom in PJ will pave the way for new Mitsubishi customers. There is an enormous market potential here in view of the huge population and promising growth of not less than 1.25% per annum with at least 60% of mid to high income households.”
With an investment of RM 1.25 million and a built up area of over 34,000 square feet, the 3S Centre houses a comfortable customer lounge with WIFI and sufficient space to display up to four cars. Its service centre also comes with a fully-equipped workshop with 12 service bays ready to serve every Mitsubishi vehicle.
MMM is now represented by 52 showrooms (out of which 46 are 3S Centres) and 52 service outlets throughout Malaysia. In East Malaysia, MMM is represented by 14 showrooms (7 in Sarawak and 7 in Sabah).
The Triton 4×4 pick-up truck are imported as CBU (Completely Built-Up) units from Thailand while the ASX Compact SUV and Outlander are locally assembled (CKD) in Malaysia.
