Mitsubishi ASX Now Available With Fantastic Offers

Up to RM 8,000 savings and RM 8,888 trade in promo on this Japanese compact crossover.

In conjunction with the government’s tax holiday scheme, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is offering up to RM 8,000 savings, in addition to RM 8,888 trade in promotion on a brand new Mitsubishi ASX. Making this Japanese compact crossover a fantastic deal in this competitive segment.

On the outside, the Mitsubishi ASX is a handsome compact SUV. Riding on 17 inch alloys, its chunky masculine styling is a nice contrast against its other more curvaceous rivals.

Moving on to the interior, there is a large touchscreen infotainment system that supports MP3, AUX and USB. There is also a multi-information LCD display that relays useful vehicle information to the driver within the instrument cluster.

Leather seats in the ASX are a nice touch, along with the multifunction steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters. There is even a standard panoramic glass roof that brightens up the cabin on selected models.

In terms of features and practicality, the ASX is able to seat 5 with relative comfort. The boot is also suitably sizeable at 400 litres with the seats up, and can be further enlarged thanks to the 60:40 split foldable rear seats.

Some variants of the ASX also comes standard with the little things like auto retractable mirrors, automatic headlights and wipers, keyless go with push start button, cruise control and fully automatic air conditioning to make life more pleasant while on the road.

Under the bonnet is a well-proven 2.0 MIVEC engine that outputs a very healthy 150 hp and 197 Nm of torque. Mated to a INVECS-III CVT gearbox, the ASX produces more than sufficient power for everyday use, while also returning a claimed 13.2 km/l under normal driving conditions.

As for ride and handling, the ASX comes with fully independent suspension, so handling will on par with rivals. The ASX also boasts a best in class turning radius of 5.3 m. Handy in city driving scenarios.

Granted, the ASX probably won’t exactly set any pulses alight, but then again no compact crossover will.

That being said, unique to the segment, the ASX is available with Mitsubishi’s proven selectable all wheel drive system. The perfect safeguard in this unpredictable climate when its sunny one minute and rainy the next.

The usual safety acronyms like Active Stability Control (ASC), Traction Control (TC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) , Electronic Braking Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA) are also found in this compact crossover, to get you to wherever you’re going safely.

Front and rear parking sensors with standard reversing camera come standard too with the ASX to assist parking manoeuvres.

Furthermore, all round disk brakes and 7 airbags come as standard in the ASX to protect the occupants if things to go wrong.

Priced at RM 111,628 for the 2WD variant while the 4WD variant costs RM 125,182 before the aforementioned incentives and promos, the ASX now also comes with 5 years free maintenance and 5 year unlimited milage warranty.

With this in mind, the Mitsubishi ASX could be the perfect family transport tool to anyone looking for safe, reliable, worry-free motoring.
