Mercedes-AMG ONE Service Hub Opens In Malaysia With RM2.2 Million Investment

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has established Southeast Asia’s first and only Mercedes-AMG ONE Service Hub at Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi. The RM2.2 million facility will provide specialised servicing for the Formula 1-derived hypercar.
The Malaysian hub joins a limited global network of service facilities in Germany, Switzerland, the Middle East and Japan. It will support Mercedes-AMG ONE owners across Southeast Asia, complementing the existing hub in Japan.
The purpose-built facility features specialised equipment, factory-grade technical infrastructure and direct coordination with Mercedes-AMG specialists in Affalterbach, Germany.
Servicing A Formula 1-Derived Hypercar
The Mercedes-AMG ONE uses a Formula 1-derived hybrid powertrain combining a 1.6-litre V6 turbocharged engine with four electric motors. The system produces more than 1,063 hp and can rev up to 11,000 rpm.
Mercedes-AMG produced only 275 units of the two-seater hypercar globally. Its complex powertrain requires specialised equipment and technical expertise beyond standard servicing capabilities.
The Malaysian service hub includes high-voltage tools, dedicated diagnostic equipment and controlled vehicle storage and working conditions. It also supports direct technical coordination with Mercedes-AMG specialists.
Technicians at the facility have undergone specialised training and received Mercedes-AMG certification. They are qualified to perform approved diagnostic, maintenance and servicing procedures for the hypercar.
Regional Support And Parts Logistics
Malaysia’s land, sea and air connectivity supports the movement of vehicles, parts, tools and technical resources across the Asia-Pacific region.
The facility also benefits from its proximity to Mercedes-Benz’s Parts Logistics Asia Pacific hub in Malaysia. This connection supports parts distribution and inventory management, helping reduce delays when replacement parts or maintenance are required.
Additional services include locally based technical specialists, known as Flying Doctors, who provide initial technical support across the region. Dedicated liaison officers will assist international customers with communication and service coordination.
An integrated digital service system will also provide diagnostic reporting and support communication between customers and technical teams.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia said the new facility reflects its investment in specialised aftersales capabilities. The hub also supports Malaysia’s broader ambition to strengthen its high-value services sector under the Thirteenth Malaysia Plan for 2026–2030.
