Maserati Grecale Luxury SUV Arrives Priced From RM598k
The newest Maserati Grecale GT offers “best-in-class” features and sporty performance.
Naza Italia has just revealed the 2023 Maserati Grecale GT hybrid today, which the Italian carmaker describes as “The Everyday Exceptional” with the right balance of versatility, elegance, performance and innovation, guaranteeing performance, comfort and safety, all in one stylish package.
The word “Grecale” was inspired by the North Eastern Mediterranean wind and the SUV was designed at the Maserati lab in Modena. Formally launched in 2022, this car added a brand new SUV segment to the trident brand’s lineup and demonstrated it’s prowess with internal combustion engines, hybrids and electric vehicles (EVs).
Moreover, Mr. Farid Sulaiman, CEO, Naza Italia said, “Following the preview of the Maserati Grecale Trofeo in Malaysia in June last year, Naza Italia is proud to introduce the 2023 Grecale in GT Hybrid version today. We are pleased to present this engine variant option for our customers in Malaysia, who continue to find excitement and desirability in the Grecale.”
Powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine paired to a mild hybrid system, the Maserati Grecale GT makes 300hp and 450Nm of torque which pushes the car to 100km/h from a standstill in just 5.6 seconds on to an impressive 240km/h top speed.
On top of that, the Maserati Grecale GT also features the brand’s new symbol which first debuted on the Maserati MC20, as well as a low grille, sharp body lines, boomerang tail lights, inspired by the Giugiaro 3200 GT and a sleek almost coupe like roof design and quad exhaust pipes for an even sportier finish.
The Maserati Grecale GT boasts an impressive list of “best-in-class” features, particularly in terms of spaciousness and comfort but also in interior space, maneuverability, handling, acceleration, sound quality and its tasteful use of high quality materials such as wood, carbon fibre and leather.
The Maserati Grecale GT hybrid measures 4,846mm long, 1,670mm tall and 2,163mm wide (including wing mirrors). The car also features a 2,901mm wheelbase, which plays a major role in the spaciousness of the rear cabin and the car’s overall roomy and comfortable feel inside.
The interior has also been massively upgraded with everything now becoming touch based and for the first time ever, the classic Maserati clock face is now digital. The central infotainment system is also broken down into two screens, a 12.3 inch central screen on top for infotainment and an 8.8 inch unit below it for additional controls.
All in all, the Maserati Grecale GT hybrid is now more well equipped and looks better than ever before and you can have it from just RM598,000 inclusive of local duties and taxes, before customisation options, road tax and insurance including 3 years Standard Warranty coverage with no mileage restriction
