This new 1S dealership on the Penang mainland brings the total Suzuki outlets in the state to two.
While Suzuki may not be the first brand that comes to mind when thinking of the Malaysian car market, local distributor Naza Eastern Motors is nevertheless continuing to expand its retail presence in the country. The latest addition comes in the form of a new 1S centre in Juru, giving Suzuki a presence on the Penang mainland alongside its existing Georgetown outlet on the island.
Operated by SMG Auto (MN) Sdn Bhd, the new outlet represents a RM1 million investment and has been set up to give customers in Juru, Bukit Mertajam and the surrounding areas easier access to the Suzuki brand. It features a 1,600 sq. ft. showroom with space for three display units, as well as a customer lounge for visitors to browse the lineup in comfort.
As a 1S dealership, Suzuki Juru will focus primarily on vehicle sales, with customers requiring after-sales support directed to Suzuki’s Bayan Lepas service centre at Jalan Sungai Tiram 7.
The new dealership also comes as Naza Eastern Motors continues to promote SUZUKI CARe, an all-in-one ownership programme combining Suzuki Protect motor insurance coverage with Road Side Assist.
Underwritten by Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad, Suzuki Protect is available for Suzuki models retailed through authorised Suzuki dealerships. Among its benefits are agreed value coverage for vehicles up to 12 years old, no betterment for up to 10 years, waiver of excess for up to 10 years, Special Perils Coverage and unlimited towing.
The programme also includes coverage for all drivers, genuine parts, Personal Accident Coverage of up to RM 20,000 per person or RM 80,000 in total, and Key Car Cover of up to RM2,000. Customers purchasing through a Naza Eastern Motors branch also receive one year of SkyLounge membership.

The dedicated SUZUKI CARe careline at 1800-888-700 is currently being prepared for activation, with final system integration underway. Customers will be notified once the service is fully operational.

For after-sales support meanwhile, the Suzuki Bayan Lepas service centre is located at 21, Jalan Sungai Tiram 7, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Penang. It operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
With the addition of Suzuki Juru, the brand now has 14 authorised sales outlets and 13 service centres nationwide.
