Hyundai Promise CPO Used Car Programme Debuts Locally

Buying or trading-in a used Hyundai is now easier and more trouble-free than ever before.

Now here’s a little secret, Hyundai has actually been making some rather good cars for quite a while already. Though for one reason or another, Malaysians aren’t really all that interested in these usually fully-imported (and fully-loaded) products that are brought in by the South Korean automaker.

So this therefore means that Hyundais could well make for some rather appealing second hand buys, especially when having already shed some (read: most) of its value in the first couple of years. And happily, Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) is here to help on that front, with the launch of its new Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme.

The latest in a long line of in-house certified pre-owned (CPO) sales programs that were launched by the automaker themselves, the Hyundai Promise program aims to be an effortless and reliable way to get into a pre-owned Hyundai. To add to that too, this program also serves as an equally hassle-free way to trade-in and trade-up into a brand new model.

Now as with all CPO programs currently being offered, HSDM promises that all pre-owned Hyundais sold through this program will be free from major accidents and feature their original engines. A set of stringent and rigorous inspections will also be carried out by trained technicians, in order to ensure that all vehicles are in optimal electrical and mechanical condition before they are approved and certified.

For further peace of mind too, all certified used Hyundais will come with an extended warranty of between two to five years depending on the age and mileage. A 24-hour road assistance service will be included with the vehicle purchase as well.

To those interested then in taking a look at what is on offer by this CPO program, the Hyundai Promise centre is located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Supported by Sime Darby Auto Selection, interested parties can alternately browse the list of cars currently available through the link here.

PRESS RELEASE: Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has launched its Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme (Hyundai Promise), an effortless and reliable way to trade-in and buy pre-owned Hyundai vehicles.

Pre-owned Hyundai models sold through Hyundai Promise come with genuine parts and the original engine. Stringent and rigorous inspections will be carried out by trained technicians to ensure that all vehicles are in optimal electrical and mechanical condition before they are approved and certified. The vehicles are also major accident-free, so Hyundai customers can have peace of mind when purchasing these vehicles. All approved and certified vehicles come with an extended warranty of between two to five years depending on the age of the vehicle and the clocked-in mileage.

“Hyundai Promise is forward-looking, offering customers a full circle of sales services, from purchasing their first new Hyundai model to trading in their vehicles for a newer model, at attractive deals. As the name of the programme suggests, we promise good quality vehicles and worry-free ownership. Customers who make their purchase from Hyundai Promise will enjoy wonderful benefits including quality assurance, financial solutions, and extended warranty,” said Mr Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of HSDM.

Mr Low added that Hyundai Promise is an important business segment that complements Hyundai’s existing business ecosystem. It also aims to regulate the resale value of Hyundai used cars in Malaysia.

All pre-owned cars are covered by manufacturer’s and dealer’s warranty as well as a 24-hour road assistance service. Interested parties can head over to the Hyundai Promise centre located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The centre is open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays. The centre is closed on Sundays.

Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme is owned and managed by HSDM, supported by Sime Darby Auto Selection.
