GWM Malaysia Opens Its Order Books For The Haval H6 HEV
This locally-assembled electrified Haval H6 HEV is estimated to debut with a price below RM 145,000.

The Chinese automaker has finally teased too an estimated price for this electrified locally-assembled SUV, with it apparently to debut over here in a couple of weeks time at below the RM 145,000 mark.
What more is that those who do indeed place a booking for one of these hybrid C-segment SUVs before its launch will be rewarded with a plethora of rather neat early-bird deals, which includes a tripling of their booking value to RM 3,000 from a RM 1,000 booking fee. GWM Malaysia is also throwing in a 10-year or 1,000,000 km (whichever comes first) vehicle warranty and a eight-year or 1,000,000 km (whichever comes first) powertrain warranty for its hybrid system, including its Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), high voltage battery and cable as well as the transmission control unit (limited to first-hand owners with private registration only).

A Star Matrix frameless grille flanked by Matrix LED headlights gives this Haval H6 HEV a brash yet chic frontal appearance, while a full-width light bar round its rump is to be further complemented a rather funky dual-segmented third brake light cluster on its roof spoiler. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen in turn headlines the features within, with this sole variant landing locally to apparently be packing other neat extras such as a panoramic glass sunroof and heads-up display.
Powering the Haval H6 HEV over here is to be a 1.5 litre turbocharged four-cylinder and electric motor pairing, with the latter integrated into a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). Combined system output is currently quoted at 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque, with GWM also claiming that this hybrid SUV to manage a combined fuel consumption figure of 5.2 litres per 100 km.
Haval is currently touted by GWM as the ‘Best-selling SUV Brand in China’ for 12 consecutive years, with a cumulative global sales figure of 4 million units to date. This hybrid SUV in particular meanwhile incidentally marks the Chinese automaker’s first foray into local assembly in Malaysia, with the first examples of this electrified model set to roll off EPMB’s Melaka production site very soon.
“GWM has always thrived to introduce highly acclaimed and innovative vehicles based on local demands and needs,” claimed Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia. “The GWM HAVAL H6 HEV will be another fantastic SUV choice among Malaysians for its state-of-the-art technology and practical features.”
