This impressive sales figure by Geely includes the nearly 22k Lynk & Co cars sold in October.

Despite the tumultuous year that 2020 seems to be, most automakers appear to not only have been weathering the storm perfectly fine, but some are even thriving too. Much like Geely which has just recently announced a sales figure of 140,026 units in October of this year.

This healthy sales figure for the Chinese automaker represents an approximately 11% increase from the previous month of September, and more strikingly an 8% rise in sales from the same period last year.

Continuing on the topic of Lynk & Co, this near 22k cars sold in October incidentally marks the brand’s highest monthly sales volume for the forth consecutive month, and signifies a 56% year-on-year growth for this Geely subsidiary.

Domestic sales in China of 129,495 units accounted for about 92% of the total volume of Geely’s sales in October, which represents a 2% growth from the same period in 2019. Export sales meanwhile stood at 10,531 units in October, a figure that is up more than twofold same time last year.
