On September 2, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei and Chairman of the Terminal BG, released a video showcasing new features of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Aito M9 Ultimate Limo Edition, a flagship SUV.
The vehicle supports voice interaction outside the car and can recognize user identities, responding with “body language”, for example, when a user waves outside the vehicle, it sways its body in reply. Inside, the car is equipped with a second-row projection system featuring a “5D cinema” function, where the cabin moves in sync with on-screen action.
When Yu Chengdong entered the vehicle for a demonstration, the doors automatically opened and closed, the second-row seats rotated to greet him, and the cabin switched to privacy mode.
At the end of the video, a “dynamic racing” gaming feature (using the cars steering wheel for controls) was also shown: game visuals are projected through the headlights or HUD, and users can control the in-game vehicle using the accelerator and steering wheel, with the car’s body moving in sync with gameplay.
