Isuzu Opens New 3S Dealership Along Jalan Tun Razak

This new Isuzu 3S dealership consolidates operation from the prior 1S centre along Jalan Semarak.

While not exactly known for having the most city-centric lineup, KL-ites will now have another place to peruse and purchase an Isuzu. This comes following the recent opening of the Autoexec Corporation Isuzu 3S Centre, located right along the ever-bustling Jalan Tun Razak.

Sitting at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the new Jalan Tun Razak Autoexec Corporation Isuzu 3S Centre also consolidates operations by relocating the previous 1S outlet from Jalan Semarak into this larger, more comprehensive facility. This marks the third outlet in Kuala Lumpur operated by Autoexec Corporation, joining its existing branches in Setapak and Jinjang.

Featuring a new showroom complete with a dedicated hero car display, delivery bay, customer lounge, and merchandise area, the outlet is better equipped to provide a more modern, state-of-the-art customer experience. This new outlet also incorporates the latest digital and virtual touchpoints, while continuing to offer full after-sales support for all Isuzu vehicles, including both pick-up trucks and commercial models.

And speaking of pick-up trucks, the opening ceremony — officiated by Isuzu Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Tomoyuki Yamaguchi — coincided with the introduction of the updated Isuzu D-Max range, now powered by a new 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine. During the event, Yamaguchi reiterated Isuzu’s commitment to delivering products that meet and exceed the evolving needs of its customers.

“The opening of this new Isuzu 3S Centre with the latest corporate identity, situated close to the heart of Kuala Lumpur, is expected to strengthen Isuzu’s presence and increase interest in our range of products—particularly among urban users. I believe that Isuzu vehicles are highly suited to serve users even within the city,” he said.

The updated 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine replaces the outgoing 1.9-litre unit that previously powered the bulk of the range, bringing with it a healthy increase of 13 PS and 50 Nm — now totalling 163 PS and 400 Nm of torque.

Isuzu also claims up to a 56% improvement in off-the-line response, thanks to 255 Nm being available from just 1,000 rpm. This enhanced drivability is further supported by a new eight-speed automatic transmission co-developed with Aisin, adding two extra ratios over the previous gearbox.
