Jetour Has Launched Its Own Official Owners Club In Malaysia

The launch of the Jetour Malaysia Club was marked with a convoy drive from KL to Genting Highlands.

Following in the footsteps of its parent company Chery and its “With Chery With Love” initiative, Jetour Malaysia has now introduced an owners club of its own. Imaginatively named the Jetour Malaysia Club, the move signals the Chinese automaker’s growing commitment to local customer engagement and long-term market expansion.

The club’s launch was commemorated with Jetour’s first dedicated owner drive programme in the country, drawing strong participation from local Dashing and VT9 owners. The gathering began with a convoy drive from Bamboo Hills in Kuala Lumpur to Resorts World Awana in Genting Highlands, before culminating in an exclusive early preview drive of the upcoming T2.

Now supporting the drive programme was also the Jetour 101 Car Clinic, an interactive workshop aimed at improving ownership confidence. The session covered practical maintenance fundamentals such as interpreting dashboard warning lights, checking engine oil levels, monitoring coolant and brake fluid, and assessing tyre condition.

Touted to be more than just a social platform, the Jetour Malaysia Club is designed to function as a long-term engagement channel where owners can share experiences, gain product knowledge and participate in brand-led activities. The initiative reinforces the automaker’s strategy of extending the customer relationship well beyond the point of sale.

According to Jetour Malaysia CEO Fu Yong, the club reflects the company’s “Travel+” brand philosophy, which prioritises customer lifestyle experiences alongside product ownership. He added that initiatives such as the owners club, education programmes and network expansion are intended to build a confident and connected owner community while strengthening the brand’s aftersales ecosystem.

Jetour has recorded nearly 3,000 vehicle sales since its local debut last year, driven primarily by its Dashing five-seat SUV and VT9 seven-seat SUV. Both models are currently to be assembled in Johor, with prices starting from RM 109,800 and RM 118,800 respectively.

As for what is to come in 2026 meanwhile, the aforementioned T2 is expected to be joined by its smaller T1 sibling. There is also talk that the brand is exploring entry into the pickup truck segment, potentially with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Beyond product expansion, the company is also investing in long-term infrastructure growth over here, including a new headquarters, flagship service centre, regional training facility and media hub targeted for completion by the first half of 2026. At the same time, its local dealer network is set to grow to 50 authorised outlets nationwide within the next 12 months, supported by expanded aftersales campaigns and customer engagement programmes.
