Volvo Car Malaysia announces the arrival at all their nationwide showrooms the XC40 B5 Ultimate
And it is priced at RM268,888 with new features as follows:
- New exterior colour ‘Fjord Blue’;
- Harman Kardon Premium Sound Audio System
- 360° Surround View Camera
- Android powered infotainment system with built-in Google services;
- Remote Air Purifier PM2.5 pre-cleaning.
Interestingly, since the arrival of the XC40 Recharge back in February 2021, Volvo Car Malaysia has seen a fast rise in demand for their low emission vehicles and when the all electric XC40 Recharge arrived in April 2022 for RM262,459, it was a runway sales success with customers having to wait months for delivery.
Now, in late 2022, Volvo is listening and providing for their customers needs and here comes a facelift XC40, with a mild hybrid power-plant as there are still many car buyers worried about available charging infrastructure outside of Klang Valley and also the ease to charge an EV when driving over long distance.
With a mild hybrid XC50 B5 Ultimate, all that ‘battery charging worry’ is removed and low emission driving is achieved.
Meanwhile, Charles Frump, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia, said: “As we advocate for a more sustainable way of living, we also understand that people may need to familiarise themselves with the concept of electrification.

The MY23 Volvo XC40 B5 Ultimate is available in five colour options – Fjord Blue, Black Stone, Crystal White, Silver Dawn and Thunder Grey.
