Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia have just launched the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Life in Malaysia. This latest SUV from Volkswagen is a great addition to their lineup, and it completes the Tiguan Allspace trio which includes the previously launched Elegance and R-Line versions. Volkswagen was also proud to announce that this SUV will be locally assembled at their Pekan plant in Pahang just like its siblings and other recent Volkswagen launches.
The design of the Tiguan Allspace Life is very similar to its siblings. It features a very sleek front grille as well as LED headlamps and taillights. The headlamps also come with an all-weather light system and dynamic cornering for better visibility in harsh climate conditions.
Being a family-oriented vehicle, the Life is very spacious inside with a seven-seater configuration. Maximum boot space of 1,775 litres is available.
Going inside, the Life version of the Tiguan Allspace has a very cozy and fun interior. Equipment includes 9.2” Discover Pro infotainment system with wireless app connect, navigation system, and voice-control; 3-zone Climatronic air con; and a leather multifunction sports steering wheel.
The Life is powered by a 1.4TSI turbocharged engine that is paired with 6-speed DSG to produce 150PS and 250Nm of torque. This combination ensures a pleasurable driving experience whilst providing an efficient fuel consumption of approximately 7.7l/100km.
Compared to the other Tiguan Allspace models, safety is greatly prioritized in the Life. Safety features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Brake Assist (BA), Multi-collision brakes, Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS), and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). Lane Assist and Driver Alert systems.
The new Tiguan Allspace Life is priced at RM172,990 (RRP), and comes with three years free maintenance, five years unlimited mileage warranty, and five years roadside assistance. There are also plenty of colour options for the Life. It is available in five colours and two finishes. Metallic colours are Atlantic Blue, Platinum Grey, and Pyrite Silver; whilst pearl-effect colours are Deep Black and Oryx White. Pearl-effect colours are available without any additional surcharge.
