Sime Darby Motors Opens 3-Month Pop-Up Store In 1 Utama

This new Sime Darby Motors pop-up store showcases cars from Hyundai, BMW, Mini, Ford and BYD.  

Shoppers at 1 Utama might soon come back from their shopping trip with more than just groceries, as Sime Darby Motors has recently announced the opening of its first-ever pop-up store in the mall. Featuring an impressive line-up cars from brands under its portfolio — which include BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, BYD, Hyundai and Ford — this latest retail addition is open to the public for three months from January 1st 2024 to March 31st and is located at Lot G102A, Ground Floor of 1 Utama Shopping Centre (old wing). 

Now in terms of what is actually on display at what used to be where Muji was, the BMWs that will be on display includes a pair of iX SUVs (an xDrive40 and xDrive50 Sport), the iX1 and the i7 limousine. Those who prefer their Bimmers to be of the two-wheeled variety on the other hand will be pleased to know that alongside its four-wheeled offerings, BMW Motorrad also has a section in the pop-up store showcasing the CE04 electric scooter, C400 GT midsize scooter and the R9T roadster. 

For those who desire something a little more British meanwhile, MINI has on display a MINI Electric and Countryman at the Sime Darby Motors pop-up shop too. BYD is also to be showcasing the Atto 3 (both regular and Anniversary Editions) as well as the Dolphin in the premises.

Visitors can feast their eyes on the latest lineup from Ford at the pop-up store as well, which includes the off-road-ready Raptor and uber-luxurious Platinum variants of the Ranger, in addition to the Everest SUV. Hyundai then wraps up the selection on display with their showcase of the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6, with the latter featured in Max RWD and Max AWD variants.
