PRO-NET, a wholly owned subsidiary of PROTON Holdings Berhad, is bringing the Proton e.MAS electric vehicle lineup to Sabah with a five-day roadshow at Suria Sabah in Kota Kinabalu.
The event will take place at the Main Atrium on the Ground Floor from 7 to 11 October 2026, running daily from 10am to 10pm. Visitors will be able to view the full Proton e.MAS lineup, take part in test drives and access special offers throughout the roadshow.
The event features the Proton e.MAS 5, e.MAS 7 and e.MAS 7 PHEV. The e.MAS 5 is currently Malaysia’s best-selling EV model, while the e.MAS 7 is the country’s first national EV. The e.MAS 7 PHEV is also currently Malaysia’s best-selling plug-in hybrid.
PRO-NET says the roadshow is part of its efforts to expand the Proton e.MAS ownership network beyond Peninsular Malaysia and give more customers the opportunity to experience its vehicles and electrified driving technology.
The brand has delivered more than 40,000 vehicles within 20 months since the e.MAS 7 was introduced. Its ownership network currently consists of 60 dealerships nationwide, supported by more than 1,600 trained sales and aftersales personnel.
PRO-NET plans to increase the network to 70 outlets by the end of 2026. This is expected to include 57 service centres and 14 Body & Paint centres.
Charging infrastructure will also be highlighted at the roadshow. The Proton e.MAS Live Charging Map currently lists more than 5,100 charging points and provides real-time availability through the vehicle’s navigation system and the Proton e.MAS mobile app.
For customers living in high-rise developments, the app also lists more than 2,000 charging points located across more than 700 apartments and condominiums.
Visitors who purchase a Proton e.MAS during the roadshow can take advantage of several offers, including free wallbox installation, overtrade support of up to RM10,000 and a special 2.1% bank interest rate from Affin Bank.
Customers who place a booking during the event will also receive a 10% discount at Montanic Adventure Store.
The roadshow will also include activities such as the “Find MECCHA CHAMELEON” campaign, while EV sharing sessions will be held on 10 and 11 October. These sessions will include product presentations and discussions about EV ownership and charging.
Brilliant Solar will also be present at the event, offering up to 2% off selected solar systems for eligible customers who sign up and pay a RM1,000 deposit at the booth. The first 20 eligible customers will receive RM100 in Touch ’n Go eWallet credit.
