Proton e.MAS Marks 40,000th Delivery With New Ownership Benefits

Proton e.MAS has reached 40,000 vehicle deliveries in Malaysia, just 20 months after the EV brand was launched.
To mark the milestone, PRO-NET is introducing a range of ownership benefits covering charging, servicing, trade-ins, insurance and rewards. The main highlight is a 40% discount on charging through the Proton e.MAS app from 1 October at 11:00 a.m. until 5 October at 11:00 a.m.
No registration or redemption is required for the charging promotion. Owners can simply use the Proton e.MAS app to access the discounted rate.
Beyond the four-day promotion, the app provides access to 12 Charge Point Operators, with charging prices aligned with the rates offered through participating CPOs’ own apps. Owners can also get preferential rates of up to RM1.20/kWh at DC Handal chargers, while RExharge charging points will offer 20% off through the Proton e.MAS app from 5 October until 31 December 2026.
For aftersales, Proton e.MAS owners will receive 10% off service and maintenance from 1 to 31 October. The first 1,000 service customers during the period will also receive a Proton e.MAS 5 Touch ‘n Go card.
PRO-NET currently has 60 dealers nationwide, supported by more than 1,600 trained sales and aftersales personnel. It is targeting 70 outlets by the end of 2026, including 57 service centres and 14 Body & Paint centres. Parts availability currently stands at 98.8%.
Owners looking to change vehicles can also receive up to RM1,000 in additional trade-in rebates through CARSOME from 1 October to 31 December 2026.
For insurance, customers who purchase or renew an e.MAS Care Elite or e.MAS Care Flex policy through selected panels can receive RM100 in charging credits. The offer is limited to the first 5,000 eligible registrations. Eligible customers will also be entered into a lucky draw featuring prizes such as the Huawei Watch GT 7 and Huawei Band 11.
The Proton e.MAS app is also set to receive a refreshed version by the end of 2026. Developed with ACOTech, the updated app will bring rewards, services and ownership benefits together in one platform.
One of the additions is PassGo, a drive-to-earn rewards programme. Owners who link their vehicles from 29 September will receive 300 welcome points and can earn one point for every eligible kilometre driven, subject to the applicable terms.
The points can be exchanged for vouchers from Grab, Touch ‘n Go, foodpanda and Lazada, along with selected merchandise and other rewards.
Proton e.MAS is also offering 10% off beverages at participating ZUS Coffee outlets. Customers who adopt eligible Huawei FusionSolar residential solar solutions can receive a RM5,000 rebate and enter a draw for a sponsored five-day, four-night trip to Shenzhen, China.
The brand is also running a “Where Does Your e.MAS Take You?” contest, where owners can share their Proton e.MAS journeys for a chance to win a limited-edition e.MAS 7 diecast model and 40 Touch ‘n Go eWallet vouchers worth RM50 each.
