Designed to replace the Hyundai Starex MPV which was selling for RM151,888, this Hyundai is FULLY IMPORTED from Korea and this is why it commands a rather high selling price until now.

Yes, here comes a cabin updated Staria and with added seats it gets tagged as a family MPV (bus) and so Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) is able to offer Malaysians three variants, Lite, Plus, and Max, with a starting selling price from just RM179,888.00.

The 10-seater Staria is a diesel-powered 2.2 CRDi engine that is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

It delivers an estimated power output of 177PS and 431Nm of torque. Its high-efficiency, air-cooled turbocharger has an improved compressor and turbine wheel performance for better low-speed torque performance.

In case you were wondering, the Starex was powered by a 2,497cc diesel engine paired with a 5-speed automatic gearbox that delivered 170bhp and 441Nm of torque.
