Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford seems to be on a roll with its dealership openings recently, as not long after it announced two new service outlets in the more remote regions of Sarawak last month, it has since recently opened its doors to its largest 3S showroom in Penang.
Located in Seberang Perai Tengah with an investment of RM 16.6 million poured into it, this latest and greatest Ford 3S Centre in Penang spans 46,000 square feet and features cutting-edge facilities. A dedicated concierge welcomes customers into a contemporary interior designed to the Blue Oval’s Signature identity standards, where digital sales tools and streamlined processes optimise the customer experience.
This new facility is currently staffed by 38 trained professionals across sales and aftersales departments, with the showroom capable of six vehicles and features a specialised delivery room. The service centre meanwhile houses 16 service bays and a comprehensive spare parts warehouse, demonstrating Auto ConneXion’s commitment to maintaining Ford’s global service standards.
What more too is that complementing the main outlet further is a nearby 28,000-square-foot Body & Paint Centre, which offers specialised services including body repair, spray painting, and windscreen replacement. This auxiliary facility features five mechanical service bays and can handle up to 20 body repair jobs monthly.
Located at Lot 6984, Jalan Baru, Mukim 1 in Seberang Perai Tengah, this newly-opened Ford 3S outlet operates extended hours to accommodate customer needs. The showroom serves customers from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday, with modified hours on Sundays and public holidays. Service centre operations run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays and Saturday mornings until 12:30 PM.
Customers who require some bodywork repairs can separately book an appointment for it to be done at the aforementioned auxiliary outlet, with said appointments done by contacting 019-3302536. The body and paint facility is currently located at 11A, Jalan Saga Jaya 1, Taman Perindustrian Saga Jaya, 13600 Perai, Penang.
In conjunction with the opening, customers in the month of February can enjoy a complimentary 5-Year Ford Blue Oval Service Plan and save up to RM 8,000 on selected Blue Oval models. Ford currently has two primary models in its Malaysian lineup: the Ranger pickup (inclusive of the Baja-bashing Ranger Raptor) and the Everest SUV.
