Older Malaysians Seem To Be Booking The Perodua QV-E 

It seems that the Perodua QV-E electric hatchback bookings are coming from “older Malaysians” as mentioned recently by Perodua senior management in a press event.

Let us explain. When Perodua launched the P-Circle app which is FREE to download on your smartphone, the idea was to get all their dealers and also Malaysians ready to use the numerous functions and also e-Wallet that resides in the app.

It also means that to book the new Perodua QV-E electric vehicle (EV), you will have to use Perodua’s P-Circle app and paying a RM100 booking fee via the e-Wallet. This means downloading the app and then transferring at least RM100 into the e-Wallet to be used for booking the QV-E.

This proved to be a task that many QV-E interested buyers could not do, due to age and lack of smartphone app and online e-Wallet use.

So, now Perodua management have decided to open the QV-E booking Perodua’s official online booking system at Perodua.com.my/online-booking by selecting the QV-E model, choosing colors/options, entering details, and paying a RM100 booking fee, or visit a Perodua dealership for in-person booking after exploring its specs on the Perodua website.

This is probably stemming from the unique Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model that caters to buyers seeking long-term, predictable ownership rather than flexible, short-term arrangements.

Perodua has expanded the number of sales outlets accepting orders for its electric vehicle, the QV-E, to 34 selected branches in Peninsular Malaysia from 9 branches previously, aiming to simplify the ordering process for customers to own their first Perodua EV vehicle.
