BMW 330i drive and dive event with Auto Bavaria

When you think of driving fun you think of nimble, well built, quick cars that provide dynamics for our out of state roads. Powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, the New BMW 330i M Sport generates a top speed of 250km/h and outputs 258hp with a peak torque of 400Nm from 1,550 to 4,400 rpm. It also makes the century sprint in 5.8 seconds. With the updated 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the vehicle only consumes 6.4 litre of fuel for every 100km. The reduced carbon emissions of 147g/km is optimised by a particulate filter included in the exhaust treatment system.

This is why Auto Bavaria decided to bring 12 lucky Malaysians on a 330i driving and diving journey.

Now in its 7th generation – the new BMW 330i M Sport is the ultimate premium sports sedan of today and is a car for those who are driven by adventure and excitement.

Leaving behind the city for the weekend, 12 lucky participants had the opportunity to take to the road in the bound for Kuala Dungun where their scuba diving adventure began.

Starting their drive at the newly-renovated Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur in the late hours of the night/ early hours of the morning, customers were treated to a sumptuous supper and an introduction to the BMW 330i M Sport by Vi Thim Juan, Head of Business Operations, Auto Bavaria before beginning their novel journey driving the new BMW 330i M Sport to the diver’s haven of Tenggol Island in Terengganu.

The drive to Kuala Dungun provided participants with a great night driving experience and impressions of the new BMW 330i M Sport, beginning in default Comfort mode and as the journey continued the drivers truned to the other driver modes to extract more excitement from this new 3-Series.

The participating drivers commented that even in Comfort, cruising was sharp, precise and the BMW 330i M Sport offered a very dynamic drive feel.

Now, the drive was pre planned to provide the most engaging drive for the participants and when the roads started getting a little windy, the drivers were advised to move in Sport mode for the rest of the route and here is where the drivers could feel the BMW suspension working its magic to provide sure-footed handling while returning a comfortable ride for the passengers inside the cabin. This route brought all the participants to the seaside town of Dungun and then the cars were parked and the group took a boat to Tenggol Island.

4 days of sun, beach and diving gave them a welcomed reprieve from the hustle of city life and  the drive back was as fun as the 4 days on the island…..just a different kind of fun, driving fun!
