Get ready to be amazed with a refreshed Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain.
The Isuzu D-Max pickup truck range has received a few changes and improvements for 2023 to finally put it on par with some other pickup trucks in Malaysia which were better in some ways. This timely update helps the car appeal to a wider audience and perhaps even become the most popular pickup truck in Malaysia.
Moreover, perhaps the biggest change to the 2023 Isuzu D-Max range is the introduction of new body colours for the flagship X-Terrain and Premium variants including a new Islay Gray Mica which help the car fit into the lifestyle aesthetic better by making it look more trendy and chic.
Dolomite White Pearl, a new shade of white, will replace the original Silky Pearl White in both higher variants of the 2023 Isuzu D-Max as well, meanwhile, the Biarritz Blue Metallic colour will also replace the more mundane Sapphire Blue on the lower Automatic Premium, Auto Plus and Automatic Standard variants.
The 2023 Isuzu D-Max range features a new grille design which is also present on the brand’s new commercial trucks. The car also features refreshed rims and sportier body accents as well as a new seat design in stylish black for the flagship X-Terrain variant with a cafe brown finish on its many soft-touch surfaces.
Shunsuke Okazoe, CEO of Isuzu Malaysia, said, “The Isuzu D-Max has made tremendous inroads by being a highly innovative, sophisticated, safe and capable truck wrapped in a very handsome and modern design package. For 2023, we have taken it up a notch with a number of enhancements that will increase its appeal.”
On top of that, the X-Terrain variant of the 2023 Isuzu D-Max now also features a new Digital Video Recorder for added peace of mind with the camera installed in the ADAS module as well as ambient lighting feature added to the footwells. This blue glow adds a touch of class to the car too.
The X-Terrain, Premium and Auto Plus variants of the 2023 Isuzu D-Max range will now also receive an improved 15W wireless charger with two USB-C ports and all variants will receive an electronically-actuated rear differential lock along with keyless entry access for the Single Cab variant.
Kenkichi Sogo, COO of Isuzu Malaysia, concluded with, “Most of the updates made to this year’s Isuzu D-Max have been the result of the close collaboration between Isuzu and its dealers. Through an intimate understanding of our customers’ requirements, we are able to effect timely enhancements that meet the needs and desires of Isuzu D-Max users.”
