Volvo Car Malaysia wants to inspire its owners to make their new Volvo truly theirs in a special “A Volvo Made for You” showcase happening at Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur from this Friday 9th August to Sunday 11th August.
Held from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. each day, the weekend event will feature exclusive one-off offers and complimentary accessory upgrades on Volvo’s C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric models, showcasing these fully electric crossovers in a first for custom showroom designs and accessory setups.
Now of the main cars on display at this weekend event, four will feature custom vinyl wraps that reimagine the Volvo C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric for different owner personas.
The first pair features both models kitted out in ‘All-Black’, with a matte black full-body wrap complemented by blacked-out rims and door trims, with even the chrome accents blackened on Volvo’s trademark Iron Mark badge in front and brand logo behind. The result is a stealthy yet aggressive design that accentuates the lines of the car by day, while the cars’ ‘Thor’s Hammer’ headlights and signature swooping taillights appear more distinct by night.
The second pair under the ‘Trendsetter’ moniker is more playful, taking inspiration from fashionable personalities who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd. One of this pair is a Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric dressed in yacht blue – a fun and feminine departure from standard factory colour options.
The other model is the most joyful of the showcase, featuring a multicoloured XC40 Recharge Pure Electric with whimsical artwork depicting friluftsliv – a Scandinavian phrase meaning ‘open-air living’ – representing the Swedes’ love of being outdoors while exemplifying the XC40’s versatility from urban commutes to country escapades. The custom doodle even features little moose on all sides as an extra nod to Swedish culture.
Customers who purchase a new Volvo’s C40 and XC40 Recharge Pure Electric can enjoy additional offers on top of cash rebates of up to RM25,000. Alternatively, they can choose the Volvo ‘Made for You’ accessory package worth RM43,000 which includes integrated running boards, a sleek hubcap kit, 20” rims and tyres, an illuminated tailgate scuff plate, and a digital interior rearview mirror to further elevate each model’s appearance and practicality.
