As new pickup trucks get bigger and brawnier, there are still pickup truck buyers who want a simple double cab with a cargo area at the rear for small businesses or just as a 2nd family vehicle.

Once upon a time Datsun (pictured below) had this segment cornered and then there was Daihatsu and Toyota with their versions…..but they were mostly single cab versions. Now Ford has seen a gap in the market and are looking to fill it with this Ford Focus based pickup truck that is slated for production in 2020.
