Nissan KICKS e-POWER Awarded to Grand Prize Winner of Tonton Campaign

Nissan Malaysia has handed over a brand-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER to Ms Leong Pik Leng, the grand prize winner of the Tonton Non Stop, On Top! Round 3 campaign.

The win marks Leong’s first Nissan vehicle, giving her the opportunity to experience the KICKS e-POWER and its electrified driving technology.

Unlike conventional hybrids, the Nissan KICKS e-POWER uses an electric motor to drive the wheels. Its petrol engine acts as a generator, producing electricity to charge the battery and supply power to the motor.

This setup delivers instant torque, smooth acceleration and quieter operation. It also provides an electric vehicle-like driving experience without requiring external charging.

The KICKS e-POWER is designed to combine the driving characteristics of an electric vehicle with the convenience of a petrol-powered generator. Drivers can enjoy electric motor propulsion without having to rely on charging stations or plan their journeys around charging stops.

The Tonton Non Stop, On Top! campaign is part of a partnership between Nissan and Malaysian streaming platform Tonton. Through the collaboration, both companies aim to combine entertainment with consumer competitions and opportunities to experience Nissan vehicles.

The campaign also provides Nissan with a platform to introduce its e-POWER technology to a wider audience. The technology offers an alternative to conventional petrol powertrains and fully electric vehicles, particularly for drivers who want an electrified driving experience without external charging.

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Executive Vice President Christopher Tan highlighted the partnership’s role in creating rewarding experiences for Malaysians. The collaboration brings together entertainment and competitions while introducing more people to Nissan’s e-POWER technology.

With the conclusion of the campaign’s third round, Leong has officially taken delivery of the KICKS e-POWER as the grand prize winner.
