Geely Monjaro EM-i Makes European Debut At Paris Motor Show

Geely has unveiled the Monjaro EM-i at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, marking the plug-in hybrid SUV‘s European debut. The model sits at the top of Geely’s D-segment SUV lineup.
The unveiling also marked Geely Auto Group’s first unified appearance at the event alongside its sister brands, Lynk & Co and Zeekr.
Plug-In Hybrid Powertrain And Chassis
The Monjaro EM-i uses Geely’s GEA-Evo architecture and EM-i Super Hybrid system. Its powertrain combines a 1.5TD dedicated hybrid engine with a dual-motor setup.
Geely has tuned the SUV’s chassis to meet European driving requirements. Models equipped with Intelligent Electric AWD also feature additional terrain settings and Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension.
The all-wheel-drive version offers six driving modes: Pure, Hybrid, Power, Snow, Sand and Off-road. The Sand and Off-road settings expand its capabilities across different driving conditions.
Interior And Technology
The Monjaro EM-i features a connected cockpit with 15.4-inch and 12.3-inch displays as standard. Buyers can also opt for a larger 25.6-inch display.
Geely has positioned the model as a flagship family SUV, focusing on cabin comfort, technology and hybrid efficiency. The company has not provided detailed European-market power outputs, battery capacity or electric driving range in the announcement.
Geely Expands Its European Presence
The Monjaro EM-i’s debut forms part of Geely’s wider expansion across Europe. The group is developing retail, aftersales and product support networks across 27 European countries.
Combined monthly sales for Geely, Lynk & Co and Zeekr exceeded 10,000 units in September 2026 for the first time, according to the announcement.
Geely plans to begin rolling out the Monjaro EM-i in European markets heading into 2027. Right-hand-drive markets, including the United Kingdom, are also part of the planned expansion.
The company has not confirmed specific launch dates, prices or market-by-market specifications. Further details are expected as the European rollout approaches.
