Malaysia’s No. 1 selling luxury MPV, the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV, now has a new HEV variant called the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 HEV. GWM Malaysia today announced that bookings for the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 HEV is now opened ahead of its upcoming market introduction.
With the GWM WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV approaching the milestone of 2,000 units delivered nationwide, the introduction of the HEV variant is GWM Malaysia’s attempt to build of the success of this MPV. Giving Malaysians greater flexibility to choose the powertrain that best suits their driving needs.
While both variants of the GWM WEY G9 are mostly the same on the outside, most of the differences can be seen under the hood:
