Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster Is The Brand’s First Road-Legal Motorcycle
Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, their first road-legal motorcycle developed as part of the partnership between the two performance brands.
The new motorcycle follows the track-focused AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro superbikes introduced in 2019 and 2022. Unlike those models, the AMB 002 has been designed specifically for road use, combining Aston Martin styling with Brough Superior’s engineering and manufacturing expertise.
Production will be limited to just 300 motorcycles, with the first deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
The AMB 002 features a lightweight design with extensive use of carbon fibre. Its bodywork includes a sculpted fuel tank and side fairings, while crescent-shaped openings help with engine cooling and airflow. Aston Martin design elements are also incorporated throughout, including a reworked side-strake, twin oval exhausts and rear light blades inspired by the brand’s sports cars and hypercars.
The motorcycle also gets details such as keyless operation, a backlit ignition button and hand-crafted leather seat pads.
Power comes from an all-new 1,083cc water-cooled V-twin engine producing 130bhp and 110Nm of torque. The engine has been tuned to provide strong low- and mid-range torque while maintaining a responsive top-end.
Brough Superior designs, machines and assembles the engine in-house at its facility in Toulouse, France. The engine uses CNC-machined billet cases designed to reduce weight while maintaining structural strength.
The V-twin sits inside a titanium frame that forms part of Brough Superior’s distinctive backbone architecture. Milled from a solid billet, the frame weighs just 5kg and contributes to the motorcycle’s 50:50 weight distribution.
With carbon-fibre body panels and a low centre of gravity, the AMB 002 weighs 190kg. The combination of low weight, centralised mass and strong torque is intended to give the motorcycle a balance of performance and agility.
One of its most distinctive engineering features is the double-wishbone Fior fork at the front. Developed from the system used on the AMB 001 Pro, the setup separates steering and braking forces while maintaining control of the front-end geometry.
The Fior suspension is designed to improve steering precision and stability at high speeds, while its anti-dive characteristics help maintain control during hard braking, including when the motorcycle is leaned into a corner.
The AMB 002 Roadster is now available to order, although its highly limited production means only 300 examples will be built. With its combination of Aston Martin design, Brough Superior engineering and hand-built construction, the motorcycle represents a major expansion of the partnership beyond its earlier track-only models.
First deliveries are expected in Q3 2027.
