Geely Galaxy TT Launched In China From RMB129,900

Geely Galaxy has launched the new Galaxy TT, a C-segment all-electric sports sedan, in China with five variants priced from RMB129,900 (≈RM78,800) to RMB185,900 (≈RM112,800).

The range includes the 640 RWD Deluxe at RMB129,900 (≈RM78,800), 640 RWD Premium at RMB139,900 (≈RM84,900), 640 RWD Flagship at RMB149,900 (≈RM91,000), 725 RWD Flagship at RMB159,900 (≈RM97,000), and the range-topping Ultra at RMB185,900 (≈RM112,800).

Measuring 4,999mm long, 1,919mm wide and 1,479mm tall, the Galaxy TT has a 2,920mm wheelbase. It uses a dedicated EV platform with CATL’s ultra-thin battery and Cell-to-Body technology, helping create more cabin space.

Inside, the sedan gets soft-touch materials, a 23-speaker Flyme Sound 7.1.4 audio system and a Low-e panoramic roof. More than 200 acoustic damping and sound-absorbing packages are also used.

All variants feature an 800V electrical platform, Thunder 16-in-1 electric drive system and CATL Shenxing TT battery. The system supports 6C fast charging, with nearly 500km of CLTC range reportedly added in 11 minutes.

The RWD versions produce 245kW and 320Nm, with 640km or 725km of CLTC range and 0–100km/h times of 7.2 or 6.5 seconds. The Ultra adds dual-motor AWD with 180kW front and 245kW rear motors, a 75.2kWh LFP battery, 650km of range and a 3.8-second 0–100km/h time.

The chassis uses a double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, while AI-predictive “Magic Carpet” suspension and CCD active damping are available.

At its launch, the Galaxy TT reportedly completed a continuous 46km-plus wet-surface tandem drift, setting a Guinness World Record and beating Porsche’s previous 42km record.

Driver assistance is another key feature, with LiDAR-standard Qianli Haohan G-ASD technology supporting highway NOA, elevated-road NOA and urban CNOA. The system can detect hazards up to 200 metres ahead, while AEB works at speeds of up to 130km/h.

The Galaxy TT also includes tyre blowout detection and stability control, with claimed response times of 0.175 seconds and 0.3 seconds respectively.
