OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia is taking its Super Hybrid System (SHS) across Klang Valley with the SHS GO! Tour, a consumer engagement programme aimed at giving Malaysians a closer look at the brand’s hybrid technology and how it works in everyday driving
Running from 4 September to 1 October 2026, the SHS GO! Tour will stop at four OMODA | JAECOO dealerships across Klang Valley. The programme gives visitors an opportunity to explore SHS through a hands-on experience while learning more about its approach to driving range, performance and energy efficiency
SHS currently powers the JAECOO J7 PHEV and OMODA C9 PHEV, with the system built around three main areas: Super Range, Super Power and Super Efficiency
Super Range
The first focus is extended driving range, allowing drivers to cover longer distances with fewer stops. In the JAECOO J7 PHEV, SHS provides up to 1,300 km of combined driving range, making it suitable for both daily use and longer journeys
Super Power
SHS is also designed to provide strong and responsive performance. The OMODA C9 PHEV demonstrates this with a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.9 seconds, giving drivers quick acceleration when needed
Super Efficiency
The third element is energy management. SHS intelligently manages the use of electric and engine power to optimise energy consumption while maintaining the driving experience. This allows the system to balance efficiency with performance depending on driving conditions
Four Weeks, Four Dealerships
The SHS GO! Tour will take place at four dealerships across Klang Valley over four consecutive weeks:
- 4 September – 10 September: OMODA JAECOO Shah Alam (Evo Wheelstech Sdn Bhd)
- 11 September – 17 September: OMODA JAECOO Old Klang Road (Luxury Legend Sdn Bhd)
- 18 September – 24 September: OMODA JAECOO Cyberjaya (Luxury Legend Sdn Bhd)
- 25 September – 1 October: OMODA JAECOO Selayang (Carro Digital Sdn Bhd)
Through the four-week programme, consumers can get a better understanding of how SHS works and the benefits it offers in real-world driving. With the JAECOO J7 PHEV and OMODA C9 PHEV already using the system, the tour also provides an opportunity for potential buyers to explore the technology behind the two plug-in hybrid models before making a decision
