Ducati Streetfighter V4 S Now Available In Dark Stealth

This stripped-out Ducati superbike is also greener than ever thanks to Euro 5 compliance.

Just days after the Malaysian launch of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S, Ducati has further improved this stripped-out super bike for the next model year. Making this naked bike both meaner and greener.

Starting from the 2021 model year, the entire Streetfighter V4 lineup is now more ecologically conscious, as the entire range has been made to comply with Euro 5 anti-pollution legislations. Strangely however, this eco-friendly modification only applies for bikes sold within markets ‘where Euro 5 standards apply’. Thus it stands to reason that Malaysia will not be receiving this particular update anytime soon.

What we might be getting however is the new front brake pumps and a self-purging clutch. First seen on the Superleggera V4, those upgrades are now making its way to the entire Streetfighter lineup.

Speaking of upgrades, a new Dark Stealth colour scheme is also now made available on the Streetfigher V4 S. Joining the sporty Ducati Red, this new black and silver colour scheme might be less shouty than the vibrant Rosso colour scheme, but it is no less attractive. Especially with the twin gold Öhlin front struts adding that flash of colour to the otherwise subtle menace of the V4 S.

In fact, with its signature bi-plane wings on the stripped out fairing, this new Dark Stealth Italian superbike could conceivably be something Batman would ride on. An observation that is a tad ironic, considering that the Streetfighter’s front end was described to evoke the grin of the Joker.

Aside from those minor updates, the Streetfighter bikes are the the same as those that were just launched locally last week. Essentially a stripped-out Panigale V4, the Streetfighter V4 is powered by the 1,100 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that produces 208 hp at 12,750 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 11,500 rpm.

Ducati’s electronic package is also standard on both the Streetfighter V4 and V4 S. Based on a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU), the bike instantly detects roll, yaw and pitch angles, and electronically assists in all areas during the ride.

PRESS RELEASE: The Streetfighter is the result of the “Fight Formula”: the Panigale V4 stripped of the fairings, with a high and wide handlebar, 178 kg on the scale, powered by 1100 cc Desmosedici Stradale delivering 208 hp kept in hand by biplane wings and a complete electronic package.

The modern and technological Ducati naked bike has immediately enjoyed great success among motorcyclists all over the world, also confirmed by the positive feedback from the international media.

For 2021 Ducati presents the Streetfighter V4 S in a new Dark Stealth colour scheme, which joins the sporty Ducati Red. Furthermore, all models in the Ducati Streetfighter V4 range become compliant with the Euro 5 anti-pollution legislation (Only for Markets where EU 5 is applied).

2021 Model Year

To comply with the new European standards on pollutant emissions, as of 2021 all the Ducati Streetfighter V4 range models now comply with Euro 5 anti-pollution regulations.

New front brake pumps and a self-purging clutch have also been introduced, both originating from those used for the first time on the Superleggera V4.

Only for countries where Euro 5 standard applies.

Ready for the challenge

There are a multitude of engineering and technological aspects conceived for this champion road bike. A balance of distinctive lines, brutal output, state-of-the-art technology and components have been combined in this “Fight Formula” of the Streetfighter V4.
