Honda CR-V 2023 Model Wins Car And Driver 10 Best Award

The Honda CR-V has once again proven why it is one of the most beloved and popular family vehicle in the world as it takes again the “Car and Driver 10Best” with its all-new 2023 Honda CR-V.

This time around, the editors of Car and Driver 10Best have awarded the all new 2023 Honda CR-V with the coveted 10Best award as a result of its rugged styling, improved interior space and sporty hybrid powertrain availability. These are all things that Honda has excelled at but continually improves in every new generation anyway.

Moreover, the editors at Car and Driver stated, “The CR-V is a well-rounded package that punches way above its weight on multiple levels. That impression starts as soon as you close the door and start rolling, as the structure of the new CR-V immediately feels tight, hushed, and substantial.”

“The body shell is more rigid, and there’s more sound insulation in the cowl, firewall, and instrument panel areas. Once you’re underway, the new CR-V delivers the kind of smoothness you expect from a more expensive vehicle. The steering is willing and pairs to a chassis that cuts a steady arc through turns.” They added.

On top of that, Honda has also won three separate Car and Driver 10Best awards this year, proving, without any shadow of a doubt, its design and engineering prowess. The other two car line ups awarded were the Honda Accord and Honda Civic line ups with the latter including the Civic Type R, Honda’s most powerful model in the U.S.

Furthermore, with a total of 69 Car and Driver 10Best awards, Honda is the most successful brand in the awards.

In fact, at least one Honda has won an award in the annual list since the award’s inception in 1983. The Accord is also the most successful Honda of all in these awards winning 37 times and in the past 25 years consecutively.

The all new 2023 Honda CR-V is also available in four trim levels in the U.S and it is the perfect companion for both daily driving and weekend getaways. This includes a new hybrid powertrain and of course, the bold styling of the Sport and Sport Touring trims being the new top of the CR-V model line.

Interestingly, the CR-V has been America’s best-selling SUV of the past quarter century just raised the stakes.

The CR-V hybrid models are positioned as the top of the CR-V lineup and will represent about 50 percent of sales for this 6th generation, a key step in the Honda electrification strategy.

Perfect for daily life or weekend escapes, this new CR-V is longer and wider with premium proportions and a significantly broader stance, further advancing the new Honda design direction with a low horizontal belt-line and a long, powerful front end.

Honda’s most popular SUV backs up its strong new looks with a more fun-to-drive personality, more confident and refined dynamics, and increased torque and capability.
