Alfa Romeo Giulia & Stelvio To Cost RM 440k–480k In Malaysia

The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Veloce will land locally priced at RM 438,800 and RM 478,800 respectively.

Shortly after teasing their imminent local arrival, Alfa Romeo has now finally confirmed pricing for its long-awaited Malaysian comeback models. And yes, you may want to be seated, because these fully imported-from-Italy Alfas do not come cheap.

Now those eyeing the sleek Giulia Veloce sedan will need to be prepared to fork out RM 438,800.00 on-the-road without insurance. Meanwhile, buyers looking for something with a more SUV-like stance can opt for the Stelvio Veloce, which retails at RM 478,800.00.

For some comparative context, an equivalently specced locally assembled BMW 330i M Sport can be had for just RM 340,200. And while an X5 xDrive40i does cost roughly RM 25,000 more than the Stelvio, it does also bring with it two extra cylinders…

In any case, importantly here for prospective Alfistis, both those aforementioned prices do include a five-year or 150,000 km factory warranty. Worth noting too is that while these are now decade-old nameplates, both the Giulia and Stelvio will arrive here in their facelifted guises, first unveiled globally back in 2022.

The Veloce trim on both models signify that a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder lies under their hoods, sending 280 hp and 400 Nm through an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. In the Giulia, drive is sent to the rear wheels, while the Stelvio benefits from all-wheel drive. Both cars crack off the century sprint in a decently spritely 5.7 seconds, though the SUV does lose 10 km/h off its V-Max relative to the sedan’s 240 km/h top speed.

Kit-wise, both cars come fully specced from Italy. The sumptuous exterior aesthetic of both models is accentuated by a restyled grille with ‘3+3’ Matrix LED adaptive headlights underlined by LED DRLs and 19-inch Teledial alloys which, behind them, hide a Q2 mechanical self-locking differential.

Inside meanwhile, there is an 8.8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch customisable fully digital instrument cluster, sport leather seats with dark grey stitching, and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Both models are further equipped with a suite of ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist and traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitors, lane keep assist, and driver attention assist.

Locally, customers will soon be able to view and purchase their Alfas at the brand’s flagship 3S centre located at TREC Kuala Lumpur, known as ‘Casa Alfa Romeo’. This will later be joined by additional facilities in Penang and Johor, coinciding with the expected arrival of two more models – the Junior compact crossover and the Tonale small SUV.

And to further elevate the ownership experience, Alfa Romeo Malaysia is also set to introduce a range of exclusive perks for its customers. These include ‘La Bella Vita’, a curated lifestyle event, ‘Speed Dating’, an Alfa Romeo-exclusive track day, and ‘Alfa Concierge’, offering personalised assistance and services for new owners.

Existing Alfistis have not been forgotten either too, as Alfa Romeo Malaysia has rolled out the ‘Famiglia Alfa Romeo’ programme. This extends professional support across all Alfa Romeo vehicles, providing access to factory-certified technicians, genuine parts, and reliable roadside assistance.
