Volvo Celebrates Merdeka With Up To RM70,000 Off An XC90

Volvo is celebrating Merdeka with a weekend sales bonanza taking place this 15th and 16th August.

While Volvo may be as Swedish as they come, the Scandinavian automaker nevertheless still wishes to embrace the Merdeka spirit. Such is especially as over the weekend of the 15th and 16th August, it is set to unleash a 48-hour sales bonanza with exclusive cash rebates of up to RM 70,000 on select models!

Now, it is perhaps worth highlighting from the outset that the biggest saving here is reserved for the flagship XC90, which will be available with the aforementioned RM70,000 cash rebate during the limited-time campaign. More specifically too, this offer only applies to MY2025 examples, though these are nevertheless still the latest updated facelifted model, making the deal all the more enticing.

Besides the XC90 meanwhile, buyers can enjoy a RM 30,888 rebate on the all-electric EX30 Ultra, while the EC40 Single comes with a similarly healthy RM 30,000 discount. As for those looking for something a little larger on the other hand, the newly refreshed XC60 receives a RM 29,200 rebate together with the Volvo Service Plan Plus 5 package worth RM 15,800. Those opting instead for the flagship ES90 can enjoy RM 27,000 in combined rebates, along with a complimentary Volvo Wallbox worth RM 3,990.

And to sweeten the deal that little bit more, Volvo Car Malaysia is also throwing in a number of exclusive perks throughout the weekend sales bonanza. Customers who test drive any Volvo model during the event will receive a complimentary artisanal coffee, while those who place a booking will be entered into a lucky draw for exclusive Volvo merchandise. New owners who subsequently take delivery of their vehicle will also receive mystery gifts as part of the campaign.

The Merdeka promotion will be available nationwide through authorised Volvo dealerships, though Klang Valley customers can also visit a dedicated event at Carfe, Petaling Jaya, which will run from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on both 15th and 16th August.
