VW Tiguan With IQ.DRIVE Is Offered With VAP

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has just announced updated IQ.DRIVE features in the #SUVW Tiguan Allspace family, which comes in three different variants – the R-Line 4MOTION, the Elegance, and the Life.

All three variants will now be offered with Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP).

Meanwhile, VW vehicles delivered after 5^th July 2023 without VAP will get 2 years manufacturer warranty and 5 years roadside assistance.

Interestingly, VW vehicles delivered after 5th July 2023 with VAP will get 5 years unlimited mileage warranty, 3 years maintenance and 5 years roadside assistance

So, depending on the selected model, VAP is valued from RM8,000 to RM10,000.

The revitalised Tiguan family now include various new IQ.DRIVE features such as Front Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Side Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Assist to guarantee drivers a more comfortable and safer journey. Wireless charging is also now standard for all variants.

The interior for all three variants is no less impressive, with the best connectivity features such as a Digital Cockpit and 9.2″ Discover Pro infotainment system with wireless App-Connect.

Other standard features in the Tiguan family includes a 3-zone ‘Air Care Climatronic’ air-conditioning system, electric tailgate, multi-view rear-view camera, USB-C interface and charging sockets, wireless app-connect (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto) and voice control.

All three variants come in five exterior colours – Platinum Grey, Pyrite Silver, Oryx White, Atlantic Blue, and Deep Black.

The Tiguan Allspace flagship, the R-Line (which was priced before at RM208,553) is a performance SUV, and its aggressive stance, coupled with 19” Sebring alloy wheels..

Its 2.0TSI turbocharged engine generates an impressive output of 220PS and torque of 350NM paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission.

The flagship #SUVW is also fitted with an exclusive Harman Kardon 480W digital sound system with a 16-channel digital amplifier and surround sound, delivering acoustics via its 10 high performance speakers.

The Tiguan Allspace Elegance and Allspace Life (which was priced at RM159,990 in 2022) on the other hand is equipped with a 1.4TSI turbocharged engine, capable of churning a total power output of 150PS and 250NM torque paired with a 6-speed DSG.

Customers that do not opt for the assurance package will receive 2 years unlimited mileage warranty and 5 years roadside maintenance. 

The recommended retail price (RRP) of the new Tiguan Allspace family without VAP is from RM165,990 to RM245,990.
