Filled with funfair-like activities, the event celebrates with all Malaysians who have spurred Honda Malaysia to continue moving forward on the road to success while providing a special occasion to present the Special Edition cars to four lucky winners.

The event is the culmination of the many “1 Million Dreams Campaign” activities organised for the public in February and March 2021 as Honda Malaysia took to the nation to build excitement with Malaysians. The “1 Million Dreams Campaign” activities ran across all Honda authorised dealerships, while the Special Edition models were brought on a 1 Million Dreams Exhibition across states to meet fellow Malaysians.

Prominent brands, namely CUCKOO, Shopee and Watsons came onboard the celebration, adding further excitement with exclusive activities to reward their respective loyal customers. Since Honda Malaysia kicked off the campaign in February 2021, the response has been overwhelming and alongside the favourable feedback was the over 155,600 entries received in just one month! Honda Malaysia expressed their appreciation to all Malaysians who took part in the contest.

Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Toichi Ishiyama said, “The 1 millionth sale unit is an important milestone for Honda Malaysia since we began our sales journey in 2001. Over the years, we introduced many models with advanced technologies that were well received in the market, and became the segment leaders. Highly popular models such as the City, Civic and CR-V contributed to the overall 1 million sales units, accounting for 37%, 15% and 11% respectively. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all Honda customers, members of the media, our dealer partners and the Malaysian Government for their unwavering support for Honda Malaysia. It is this strong support that has driven us to achieve the 1 millionth sale unit. I would also like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all the lucky winners. The seven winners will be the only seven people in Malaysia who own these one-of-a-kind Special Edition cars, which were uniquely designed to celebrate this major milestone.”

“In addition, Honda Malaysia allocated the Jazz 1 Million Edition specially for frontliners to win. This is our initiative to say thank you to all the frontliners who have been working tirelessly over the past year to protect the health and safety of everyone in Malaysia,” added Mr. Ishiyama.

Continuing the excitement, three of the Special Edition models, which are the BR-V, All-New City and HR-V, will be announced by CUCKOO, Shopee and Watsons in early April 2021.
